PROGRAMMING AND BOOTLOADING
Most electronic boards have microprocessors. For this reason, the Lynx Tester incorporates features to program them. It can be done via JTAG, dedicated flasher or by bootloading the App via any communication bus (Ethernet, CAN, FR).

Signal bypass and supervisor

Lynx53 is an electronic board used in high speed EOL testers when the impedance between pins of the DUT must be measured. It is based on ultra fast solid state relays (SSR), so a minimum switching time and unlimited operations can be assured. Due to its internal design, each DUT pin can be addressed to 3 different test points: DMM1, DMM2 or Bypass to a mirror connector.

LynxPSD is a power board, used to control the power supply of devices under test (DUT) up to 20A DC. Its internal relay configuration is flexible and can be hardwired by the user according to specific needs. COMBINED ICT/EOL TEST
Lynx Tester can combine in a unique equipment ICT and Functional EOL (End of Line) validation test. This feature allows, in a single tester, the detection of short-circuited connector pins when the functional test is performed. In Lynx53 based testers, each DUT pin can be addressed to 3 different test points: DMM_1, DMM_ref (for impedance measurement) or Bypass to a mirror connector for function test.

IN CIRCUIT TEST
In circuit test (ICT) is a good test option when passive electronics must be validated at the manufacturing line. Lynx Tester is connected with standard DMM and complex test fixtures to give the desired functionality: the measurement of passive elements, such as Resistors, Capacitors, Diodes, LEDS, inductors, IC presence detection, etc.

COMPLEX ELECTRONICS
When the complexity of the device under test can not be covered by any market available solution with an acceptable performance, specific tester design must be developed to save manufacturing time. This is relevant for automotive products, where complex electronic boards may have up to 4000 electronic components. This solution allowed us to test automotive body control units having more than 600 pins.

Led Tester

MULTISTATION TESTING
Lynx Test Scheduler has the capability to pipeline tests. This means overlaping test executions to provide simultaneous parallel operations within the global manufacturing test line. Whilst a part of the test is performed in test station 1, the other is tested in simultaneously in station 2. This is appropriated when time consuming processes or delays are mandatory and can not be avoided due to long component set-ups (e.g. big charging capacitors) or long time calculations in the microcontrollers.

DEVELOPMENT TEST PANELS

The development of electronic products requires specific toolings for the validation of the design, concerning hardware and embedded software. Generation RFID develops passive and smart test load panels to be used during the development or manufacturing of any electronic device.

These panels are passive or active racked modules that allow the users to interface with the DUT for its test. Inputs and outputs, communications, DMM mesaurements, … any parameter is controlled and monitored for DUT validation.

CABLES FOR PROTOTYPES

BATTERY CELL SIMULATOR
For automotive and high density embedded products, specific test boards and test firmware can be developed in order to reduce equipment duplication costs and system complexity. Our most complex product is for an automotive BCM (Body Control Module) EOL test, where we cover up to 500 pins (Digital, analog and capacitive inputs, power outputs, CAN, Ethernet and FR, among others).
